“La Repubblica del Gusto” reaches its tenth edition. From Friday 5th to Sunday 7th September 2014, the Lungomare dei Pescatori will peacefully occupied by the producers of typical Ligurian specialties and neighboring regions, from farm to fork products and by twinning with Langenargen that will bring hot dogs and beer from Constance Lake.
The event is organized by the town of Noli, in collaboration with Slow Food, the Cooperativa di Pesca “L. Defferrari” (Cooperative of Fishing “L. Defferrari”) and other local associations.
This year the Province of Savona has given again the brand “Ecofesta” (bio event), providing the biodegradable material necessary for the conduct of the same.

During the event, Saturday at 18:00 in via Suor Letizia, in the gardens of the “Centro Culturale S. Antonio” (Cultural Center San Antonio), will be inaugurated the new Slow Food Presidium of Noli “della piccola pesca artigianale del Golfo di Noli” (of the small-scale fisheries in the Gulf of Noli).
Along with the fair, there will be a spectacular grilled fish caught with sciabica (trawl) technique, including the famous cicciarelli, small fish typical of Noli gulf.
Another event not to be missed is the Palio dei Rioni, 35th edition of the Historical Regatta which takes place on Sunday at 4:30 p.m., surrounded by parade shows and performances on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
