Arezzo, the weekend from 29th to 31st July, will live again three important periods in its history: the Republican Rome, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance thanks to the first edition of “Back in time“.
All the old town will be involved, touching the most important places in the city and each will feature an historical period. Amphitheater will relive the Roman era, while at Prato will be reconstructed medieval life, finally in the beautiful Piazza Grande you can admire the Renaissance.
For its implementation will be involved 1000 participants divided into 50 groups of professionals historical re-enactors, and will perform more than 150 thematic shows, completely free.
Thanks to this crowd of artists, will be reconstructed environments and lifestyles of these three historical periods, and, to make it more real, they will sleep and eat directly on site.
Alongside there will be 80 stands in old style with typical objects of the era, food stands in Piazza S. Agostino, guided tours of the fortress and more.
