The work of pruning and cleaning of the chestnut forest are now at a good point of realization!
Thanks to this initiative a good fruiting is expected in October.
On completion of work, the plants will have new strength and the woods will be free of obstacles, so as to be ready in the fall to welcome tourists in our new activity, the Chestnut Tour, who joins with the famous Truffle Tour.
Who is interested to taste the famous and prestigious “Marroni” (browns) of Caprese Michelangelo, will have the opportunity to try the experience to pick them up directly with his hands immersed in nature. Being accustomed to buy everything you need at the supermarket, to have the ability to gather chestnuts directly where they grow and eat them, it will give them even more flavour and maybe give you more knowledge about the love and the passion used by the farmers in their old job.
We await you in High Tiber Valley, at the foot of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines and a few steps from the Park of Casentino Forests, to dive into the wilderness.

Soon will be available all the information.
