Ingredients:
- Eggs
- White truffle
- Salt
- Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions:
- Take a few quail’ fresh eggs and leave them inside an air-tight container for a day together with some smelled white truffles.Wash and brush the truffle with cool water.
- Cook the eggs in a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil.
- Meanwhile add some sliced truffle on the egg (use a truffle-slicer or a peeler).
- When the eggs are ready, put them in a serving dish, add some salt if you like and slice the remaining truffle.
Notes:
Quail egg is more delicate than hen egg, creamy yolk once heated will release the aroma of the white truffle. Finally, since the quail egg is smaller, for best result is recommended to use small plates.
