Tartufi d’Etruria 2017

Next weekend, on December 8^th, 9^th, 10^th 2017, will take place the XV edition of “Tartufi d’Etruria”.
This exhibition market, is possible thanks to the work of the “Associazione Tartufai delle Valli Aretine” (ATVA) (Truffle Hunters of Arezzo Valleys Association), under the patronage of the Municipality and Confcommercio of Arezzo.
The event will take place in Arezzo downtown under the portici (arcades) of Via Roma, Via Ser Petraccolo and Piazzetta Sopra i Ponti.
Obviously the protagonists will be the truffles of territory, although the quantity will be limited due to the severe drought that has hit Italy, but the operators are putting the maximum effort to find out as many as possible.
In addition to that precious mushrooms, as usual you will find many delicacies of the area, such as jams, honey, cheeses, vegetables, etc. There will be also products from outside the region, such as Cannara onions or oranges and fresh tangerines directly from Basilicata.
Villa Magna Farm will be present under the portici with its harvest of precious white and winter black truffles plus a rich selection of preserved products.
During the last edition, Moreno Moroni was a guest of the Teletruria TV show “Bengodi“, and interviewed by the legendary Alex Revelli about the world of truffles and the event that was taking place at that time.
