After the 2012 experience with the Travel Channel “TripFlip” series, in 2017 we have done another fantastic experience with a reality made in UK, “A Celebrity Taste of Italy“, produced by Twofour and aired on Channel 5.
The series is divided into 6 episodes of 60 min and the protagonists are 5 English VIPs.
The celebrities live in a villa in Tuscany and during their stay they try to learn local life, studying the language, cooking and doing typical local experiences.
For the occasion, Villa Magna showed them how to search for truffles, thanks to two of our dogs, Lula and Rambo, combined with the experience of Marco and Moreno Moroni.
The shooting took place on a hot July morning in the surroundings of Arezzo, as the troupe was staying near Cortona. The truffle hunt was conducted by Moreno, who followed the dogs, and by Marco, who acted as an interpreter, responding passionately to all the questions posed by the curious guests. This experience ended with a lunch – naturally based on truffles – in a well-known restaurant in the historic center of Arezzo.
